Dr. Anne C Walsh, DVM
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
I grew up in Ottawa, Ontario, and the Ottawa Valley.
From the age of 8 years old, I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian some day.
I first fell in love with Vancouver Island in 1999, living in the Comox Valley for 6 years with my sheep, goats & chickens.
When I moved to the east coast to pursue my education, I knew that I would be back!
After studying Animal Science at the
Dalhousie University Agricultural Campus
in Truro, NS., I was accepted into the
Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown, PEI
After 8 years of study, I graduated as a
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2014.
Now settled back on the Island,
I enjoy spending time with my Golden Retriever mix Ava, and silver tuxedo cat Kitty.
Buddy, my kind and gentle chocolate lab,
lost to cancer in 2017.
I'll always miss you, my sweet boy.
While for now I don't have my sheep with me, I know they are in loving homes and good hands.
We'll find just the right home soon and definitely have sheep again.
