My practice is Home Comfort Veterinary Housecalls.
My honour is to help pets, on their last day, to pass without pain or fear, at home with the people who love them by their side. Covid-19 protocols are in place to keep everyone safe.
Located on beautiful Vancouver Island, we currently help pets in communities from Ladysmith to Courtenay/Comox, with requests coming in from communities to the south and north.
My patients’ families, on one of their toughest days, are so appreciative, and say wonderful things to and about me, and refer their friends and neighbours. Word gets around! Every day there are more families calling for help, and it’s time to add more caring, compassionate DVMs to the team.
I have a great work-life balance. I see three-four appointments a day, four days/week, and make a good living. There is plenty of time in my day, to be kind, patient, and respectful to my patients and their families. There’s time to complete records, time to take a breather or a walk, and time to eat lunch, often parked by the ocean.
Your life quality is important too! Enjoy flexible scheduling - full-time, part-time, occasional - to work around your life. Add three weeks paid vacation, no on-call and no need to stay past your scheduled day. Compensation is equivalent to an in-clinic position.
Sound interesting? I’m sure you have questions. Send an email, and I’ll gladly answer them.
