1. Minimizing Contact
Outdoor appointments only! By not entering your home, we are lowering the risk for everyone.
2. Physical Distancing
As per BC guidelines, a mandatory 2 meters (or more) between your family members and the doctor is recommended. You will still be cuddling your pet, except for the brief time we need to be close.
3. Self isolating
The safety of our clients is taken very seriously and we will not take a chance of bringing COVID-19 to you. This is why we self isolate at any symptoms that manifest, and ask that you contact us if you have any symptoms also so we can come up with a safe plan to proceed.
A mask is worn by the doctor at all times during the service to protect those around us. We also carry extra masks, should you need one.
Between appointments, equipment is disinfected and hands are sanitized.
If you have any concerns or questions regarding COVID-19 and how we operate, please get a hold of us and we can come up with a safe plan together, catering to your level of comfort. .
A Gentle Goodbye
Is there a way to make the death of a beloved pet easy?
No, no there isn't.
Still, we can do our best to make your pets passing as peaceful and painless as possible.
Drifting off in your own bed with your family by your side is as comforting and calm as it gets - for your pet.
For you and your family, there can also be some comfort taken in providing as gentle a passing as possible, and in having the privacy and familiar surroundings of home.
